FISHING EXPLOITS
An ideal Safari for those adventurous Fishermen! The Angler will enjoy magnificent fishing across the unspoiled rivers of the Chobe and the Channels of the mighty Zambezi.
One cruises the waters on an 18 foot Boat, accommodating 3 Fishermen, fully equipped for all your fishing pleasure and comfort. The fishing is done on the pristine waters of the Chobe, Zambezi and the Kasai Channel.
All on board must have a passport to clear Botswana and Namibian Immigration by Boat.
Once you leave the Chobe River, you soon enter the Kasai Channel. The ride along is an experience of a life time, with lush vegetation of reed and papyrus seen throughout the swift flowing Channel. The abundant bird life is spectacular, with all Southern African water bred species, found in close proximity of our endeavors, not forgetting Hippos and Crocodiles.
Fishing for the elusive Tiger is done by using Rapalas, drifting along the banks of the river. The many species of Tilapia (Bream) are caught on the “Back Waters” on earth worms. A productive spinner for our Bream is the “Black Fury Mepps”. An forgettable experience can be had by the brave hearted, who hooks the elusive “Tiger” on fly.
|     | Duration of Fishing Safaris are 3 hours, 6 hours and 8 hours full day, carried out by Fishing Guides, comprising of boat, fuel, oil, tackle, bait and all Permit requirements.
Personalized Fishing Safaris are done by FA – who has had 26 years experience, fishing on these waters. In his fishing exploits, he has also represented Botswana at competitive levels, in numerous Fishing Tournaments in the region.
Ngina organizes 7 to 14 day Fishing Packages for the serious Angler, who would like to hook onto various species of fish. Accommodation is available in various Camps and House Boats, when fishing in various places like Chobe, Zambezi, The Delta, Lake Kariba and Binga.
